Seminar on Role of Biomedical Engineering in Healthcare

The speakers of the seminar gave an insight into the role of biomedical engineering in the local industry, with an overview of the processes of commissioning of medical devices, their calibration, preventive maintenance, and repair. The use of various biomedical equipment in the hospital was discussed from the viewpoint of quality assurance and quality control. The session benefited the biomedical engineering undergraduate students to understand the local biomedical industry demands and expectations.
