3- Day Health Asia Exhibition 2025
A 3-day participation in Health Asia 2025 provided our final-year Biomedical Engineering students with a valuable platform to present their Final Year Project to industry professionals, healthcare leaders, and technology innovators. Showcasing their prototype in a real-world medical exhibition environment allowed students to engage in meaningful technical discussions, receive expert feedback, and understand current trends in healthcare technology. This opportunity not only enhanced their communication and presentation skills but also strengthened their confidence in translating engineering concepts into clinically relevant solutions. The experience further highlighted the importance of innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and industry engagement in shaping the future careers of young biomedical engineers.
3-Day Training Program at Platinum Corporation
A 3-day Biomedical Equipment Training at Platinum Corporation, allowed final year students to gain hands-on exposure to a wide range of hospital technologies across multiple departments. The training covered Infusion Systems, Defibrillator & ECG Systems, Sterilizers, Ventilators, Surgical Lights, OT Tables, Patient Monitoring Systems, Anesthesia Machines, CT Systems, X-Ray Systems, and Digital Angiography Systems.
This experience provided students with a clear understanding of the operation, maintenance, and clinical significance of these medical devices, while deepening the appreciation for the role of biomedical engineers in ensuring equipment reliability and patient safety. It also strengthened the readiness to work in the corporate biomedical and healthcare technology sector, where technical precision and clinical collaboration are key to effective hospital management.
